Highly recommended - fast, affordable and honest. John did the work that was required to remove termites and did not over service or make false promises. Even though the job ended up bigger than expected as he was able to locate the termite damage and a large nest in the wall, he did not charge beyond the original quoted price. I will definately go back to this company for any future pest removal services.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS PEST CONTROL CAIRNS
How often should I get a termite inspection in Cairns?
contact usBecause Cairns has a humid, tropical climate highly conducive to termite activity, it is strongly recommended to get a professional termite inspection at least once every 12 months. For properties located in high-risk tropical areas or those with a history of timber pests, inspections every 6 months provide the best long-term protection.
Does home insurance cover termite damage in Queensland?
No, standard home and contents insurance policies in Australia do not cover structural or cosmetic damage caused by termites or white ants. Property owners bear the full cost of repairs, which is why annual professional building and pest inspections are essential to catch activity early..
What should I do to prepare my house for a general pest control spray?
To prepare for your pest control service, please clear items away from your skirting boards, put away exposed food or cooking utensils, and ensure floors are vacuumed and clear of children's toys or pet dishes. If you have birds or fish tanks, ensure they are fully covered or relocated to a well-ventilated area before treatment begins.
How long do I need to wait to mop after a pest control treatment?
For best results, we recommend avoiding mopping or washing your floors for 5 to 7 days after an internal general pest spray. This allows the residual treatment to dry and properly bond with the surfaces. If you must clean, mop only the middle sections of the room and strictly avoid wiping the skirting boards.
How much does pest control cost in Cairns?
The cost of pest control in Cairns varies based on your property size, the specific pests being targeted (like ants, cockroaches, or spiders), and the severity of the infestation. While a general treatment or a visual termite inspection typically starts at affordable rates, we offer personalized, transparent quotes with zero hidden fees. Contact our local Cairns team today for a tailored price.
Are your pest control treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use low-toxicity, industry-approved products that are highly effective against pests but completely safe for your family, children, and pets. Once the liquid spray is entirely dry (usually within 1 to 2 hours), it is safe to resume normal indoor activities. We just ask that pet water and food bowls are put away prior to the application.
